Though not a commercial hit at the time, Forever Changes later earned acclaim for its lush arrangements, introspective themes, and emotional depth. Songs like “Alone Again Or” and “You Set the Scene” highlight the album’s fusion of poetic melancholy and orchestral grandeur.
